- WDIR.EXE - A windowed directory display
- Version 2.1
- (C) 1986 Ravi Bhavnani
-
- WDIR is a directory display utility that lets you view the contents of a
- directory without having to lose what's already on your screen.
-
- usage: WDIR [ /k ] [ filespec ]
-
- When WDIR is invoked, it will throw the directory on the upper right corner
- of your screen. If the display is too large or covers up an important area on
- the screen, press F2 to change the size and position of the display. Sorry,
- WDIR will not remember its size or position from an earlier invocation.
-
- You can scroll thru each screenful of the directory display using the PGUP
- and PGDOWN keys; the UP and DOWN keys scroll one line in either direction.
- HOME displays the first screenful while END displays the last; ESC quits the
- display.
-
- The "/k" option instructs WDIR to keep the display on the screen upon exiting.
- By default, the display is erased and the underlying portion of the screen
- restored.
-
- This version (2.1) of WDIR incorporates a much faster directory display
- routine, the ability to scroll thru the listing line by line and the
- "/k" option.
